The beach is nice to swim at and for the views. But if you have the opportunity to hike up the hills do it! You get to a cliff where the waves splash up the side, it is such a pretty view and great exercise!

We love it! Let’s say that it’s more crowded than the others but the place is really beautiful! There is a river (u can swim) that it’s connected to the sea and there are also some people that can teach u surf! Love from Greece...More

This beach is so pretty, with a small river flowing in the sea, surfing and kayaking opportunities, few people and a great beach bar serving good food and lovely cocktails. Definitely a place to go to.

This beach is really a gem. It's a very laid-back place. And it's the perfect place to swim. Paradise!

Local beach with limited amenities. Good water and waves but a bit cool this month. Not your super sand beach littered with sticks. But overall nice

We biked to this beach from Puerto Viejo. It was a nice ride. The beach was ok. Nothing too special. The scenery is pretty, and it was not crowded. The water seemed colder than other areas and it was calm. Overall a nice experience.

Nice bicycle ride from Puerto Viejo. Beautiful! I think there were all of 10 people on this (huge) stretch of beach.

Almost a private beach so close to our resort with cafes, beach bars , interesting outdoor art, Phenomenal beach walking. Relaxing & it felt like Glligans Island

Hi! There are hotels near this beach. We stayed closer to Playa Negra at Casa de Corazon Del Mar. The oceans we saw in Costa Rica are not particularly blue and sparkling, but this beach did have a pretty greenish blue... More

yah its a long trip 5 to 6 hours - the semi traffic from Limon to San Jose is unreal - but sit back and take the scenery in at a slower lol pace - once past Limon to PV its like half hour

We stayed at La Kukula . They have a few rooms in the main lodge and two cabins. It feels like you are in the jungle. It is an easy walk across the street to the ocean and an easy couple of mile drive to town for dinner... More
