Don't miss it! The grounds and gardens are lovely, and while there are a few places in the Wheaton area to enjoy nature, it is one of my favorites. If you like history, visit the McCormick house. Lots to see for everyone!

My wife and I have visited the park and museum many times. We finally tried a Segway tour and it was awesome. We saw park of the park we had never seen. You need to call to make a reservation.

Interesting place to take a family, much to see and look at. Learn a bit about some History, place has a local flavor. Well kept and nice presentation overall. Good way to kill a few hours if looking in the area.

Don't show up a minute late or they won't let you on the tour. I ran to get water for the children in the group and got back 2 minutes late and they wouldn't allow me to catch up with the group. So I missed...More

Great place to take all ages. Tanks, gardens, WWI museum. Great for walking. All summer there are weekend activities. Car shows, dog shows, civil war battle reinactments.

I would just call and ask, as I'm not sure of their policies as to where you can picnic.

It really depends on your taste buds as they have several choices. Visit the website under dining. I tried to copy/paste below but it wouldn't allow me.
