This place is constantly reviewed as one of the best and I'm motivated to confirm that on tripadvisor. Plenty of places to read about what is new, but it is constantly evolving and is one of the top children's museums in the country!

This is, and always has been, a world class museum. If you're in Indy make this a place you go. I loved it as a child and still love it as a grandma.

My kids absolutely love this place!!!!! If you can stomach the cost and large crowds then there is absolutely no reason to not take advantage of the Children's Museum of Indianapolis! There is something for absolutely EVERYONE! From babies to older elementary, I'm not going to lie even teens and adults. The prices are a little high for entrance and... More

This was a great place to take my 15 and 6 year old. There were so many different activities and exhibits that there was something for everyone! We spent 5 hours there and could have stayed longer if we weren't so tired.

Took 14 year old grandson here with SOM National Tour classmates. Museum is wonderful for kids up to about 9-10 but at 14, he soon lost interest. We spent more time in gift shop😳. Within an hour we left!l The museum is huge and I would highly recommend taking your younger children!!

Went on MLK which was a free day. The place was a zoo but still fun. We ended up bypassing the line to park in the deck and parked on a surface lot. A little longer to walk but still fast than waiting for the deck parking.

Although pricey, the Indianapolis Children's Museum is one of a kind and is top notch. It's difficult to choose a favorite exhibit, but our family loves the Play Place for preschoolers. The water feature is a favorite, but the aprons provided have long ago lost their waterproof protection. We take a full change of clothes. 😉 The rotating exhibits are... More

We visited on a free day, the crowds were impressive. However, we were able to still enjoy the museum. There are so much interactive exhibits for the kids. There is almost too much to do, we didn't get through it all. Would have possibly given this 5 stars but for the parking, large crowds and the food was a bit... More

A wonderful place to spend a day, for children of all ages. Do not miss the Chihuly glass installation. Ditto the dinosaurs. It is truly not only the largest, but absolutely the best children's museum. We took visitors from England, they were enchanted. We have visited many times. Special displays (Xian warriors) are always a treat. They are an additional... More
