a Fall wedding brought us to Downtown Indy

Found accidently! With that said what a beautiful tribute. Our hike around downtown Indy brought us many more sights than we were expecting. Great job Indy!

We unexpectedly came upon the memorial while walking along the canal and took some time to view and read through it. It's organized by conflict going from oldest to most recent and includes all recipients both living and departed (I was with someone who recognized some of the names from the more recent conflicts). The design beautifully complements the canal... More

This is one of the hidden jewels of Indianapolis. Indianapolis has more memorials of any city in our nation EXCEPT Washington, D.C. The memorial honors ALL who have received the Congressional Medal of Honor. It tells what conflicts each was involved in and some of these actions you may not have heard of before. It is well lighted with sound.... More

This well-done memorial honors those who have been awarded medals of honor for their service. It is well organized, moving and beautifully set along the canal.

A nice memorial, however names are difficult to read. If you didn't know to look for this place you might miss it. An interactive phone app to look up names and read their story would be nice.

Nice treat to pay tribute to these heroes. Came during the day but heard it is beautiful at night. Small exhibit but worth a look

Whilst walking through the canal walkway, we came across this. It always nice to see tributes to fallen heroes. The area is nice and clean and well decorated.

This is one memorial that I mistook for a sculpture-period. It is placed along the canal and is a wonderful way to honor those who gave their lives for our freedom.

This is a beautiful tribute on the Canal right off of Military Park and across from the Indiana State Museum. The location is convenient. It is maintained well. It is free and should be visited by everyone who is in the area.
