It is amazing there. Sometimes it seems so crazy that you are so close to downtown with all of this beauty around you. When I go to the farmer's market, I always take a stroll through the sunken gardens. The Conservatory is worth the money....More

We took my Mom there while she was visiting us from Alaska. She loves flowers and this place was simply amazing. She was in a wheelchair and a few places were a little tight to maneuver but we made it through the entire outdoor garden...More

My daughter loved watching the fish in the ponds and checking out all the different plants. They have a small section with a snake, tarantula, lizard, and some fish for kids to look at as well. It was a great cheap little stop.

The children absolutely loved the gardens. It was a cheap place for them to walk around and look at things they don’t usually get to see. They referred to it as “the Jurassic Park place.” We will for sure stop again next time we’re in...More

There have been many changes at the conservatory to recommend it. It's a quaint atrium with lovely flowers and such, and a fun sunken garden. A nice place to walk the dog. Take time to stroll the entire park and have a picnic, if the...More

When I was looking for attractions in Indianapolis, this one really sounded a lot better than it is. I think I may have stayed downtown if I’d known how small it was going to be. I imagined something bigger with multiple rooms and possibly different...More

I stumbled on this garden/park/greenhouse by chance and I wish I'd known about it earlier. Garfield park is pretty great, the greenhouse is really cool and a good place to pop in in the winter when it's freezing outside because it's a tropical jungle inside....More

We visited just before Christmas to see the beautiful winter garden. The park has decorated for the holidays with a Christmas village and trains, loads of pointsettias, lights and a couple of trees. Very quiet the night we visited they were open until 8pm. Would...More

This place is perfect for young children just the right size that they are engaged and it’s over by the time they lose interest. So many lovely plants, tulip festival is my favorite time, the outdoor grounds are beautiful in the summer months.

This is a small conservatory with a nice sunken garden. The garden had a small fall display but we were visiting in October. The conservatory was small but a great way to learn about exotic plants. This is good for people with mobility issues as...More
