Nice park with miles of wooded trails. Good amount of water front with kayaks and boats, swimming area as well. $6 for car entry if non resident, $5 for resident. Very relaxing park.

If you are looking for a 1-2h escape from downtown Indy, this is a good pick. There are several well marked trails and you can see some nice birds.

This is someplace we could always take our children and guarantee to enjoy. It affordable and has lots to pick. We usually take a picnic, play volleyball, hike, rent paddle boats and sail boats. Easy access off the interstate, very clean.

The park offers evening group kayak or canoe trips. Besides quick lesson there are guides and staff to help during the trip.

You MUST visit at duck, the woods come alive with wildlife. The deer are adorable. The Ornithology Center is an absolute must. The staff is very knowledgeable about local flora and fauna and the view is awesome.
