Visited Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis. Very nice tribute to the soldiers of our country. This is one of the taller monuments in the country. The elevator was not working so we walked up the 330 steps to the top. Even though it was a...More

Great little civil war museum under the obelisk. Very nice staff, and a pleasant experience. Highly recommend it if you have time.

The sculptures, fountain and the grandeur of the structure makes this a must see monument. It's too bad that the hours of operation - inside the monument - aren't extended during the summer tourist season.

My kids complain of walking trips, but find they learn the most and have fun at the end. It is wonderful to see families spend time together with having technology or a screen to entertain.

The monument is beautiful and worth the climb to the top. Make sure you're wearing comfortable shoes and aren't afraid of tight spaces. It can get a bit stuffy in the stairwell but the view from the top is worth it! This is also a...More

Essentail site to see in Indianapolis. Wonderful, historical tribute to soldiers who gave their lives or fought in American wars.

We park on the street but if you are there for more than a few hours I would suggest a parking garage. They are close to the circle
