Fun few hours for families. Little bit of everything from ceramics to buggies. And of course bell porter. Amazing history of laporte county. Amazing pics of the old ice trade on laporte spring fed lake chain.

Took items to donate. Women at the desk not authorized to accept anything. Told we had to wait a half hour for a tour guide to finish so she could take the items. We stood in the main room and were told not to look...More

We took our 11and 9 year grandchildren to the museum and they had a blast! Our granddaughter loved looking at the doll collection and period rooms. Our grandson LOVED the cars! They both liked the church with the movable choir singing Christmas carols. My husband...More

For a midsize museum they have enough of a varitey of items that will interest eveyone. I found their section on the infamous Belle Guniess fascinating, Their gun collection is to be admired.
