All I wanted to do was get a few pictures of the falls on our way through to Louisville. It was $9 to get in and I honestly was fine with the cost of just passing through, we weren't planning to spend more than 30...More

Over all great weekend. Campgroud grass needed to be cut very high. The restroom shower water was cold all the time, a one point they decided to clean the restroom at 9am very disappointed in that. Our camp site had no table. Ask one of...More

Loved the sound of the falling water. Great views of several waterfalls. Trails can be steep for some. Lots of steps, mostly are well maintained.

Our trip there was only long enough to drive through this HUGE park, yet the beauty and variety of trails was apparent. Many lookout spots and trail markers revealed miles of trails. A quaint nature center with live animals and bird-feeding station added value. They...More

Well maintained park. We camped here and enjoyed some hiking. Some of the trails can be very challenging. Trails 3, 5 and 7 are good trails for short hikes that have nice views of the falls. A section of trail 7 is paved and ADA...More

We hiked to all of the falls. They are nice trails and well maintained. This is an excellent place for short hikes. They can be looped together for a longer experience. It is a terrific place to spend a day.

We came in on Friday, hiked about 9 miles. The park was spectacular. We got up on Saturday after a large amount of rain, hiked 6 more miles. The falls were just gorgeous. We will definitely be back.

Well maintained, relatively new Inn. Park is pretty with good hiking trails. Opt for the river view rooms for the extra money; but all seem comfortable and updated. Dining room serves very good meals. River view from the patio and dining room is exceptional. Staff...More

When we picked up our trail map I was instantly disappointed. There's something about the word Rugged in trail descriptions that is discouraging. However my hubby figured out how we could see Clifty Falls and Tunnel Falls so I am passing these on. To view...More

My husband and I have cruiser style bikes, and mostly haven them on paved roads/trails. I've searched but can't find anything other than references to hiking. Are there biking trails at Clifty Falls State Park that would work with our bikes?

There are paved roads that you can ride bikes on. The roads are hilly and curvy, so be prepared. You will be sharing the road with vehicles, so be alert. There are no bike only trails.

Is there fishing here? If so where?

There is no fishing at this park. The Ohio River is near and there are other lakes in the area, but are outside of the park.
