We walked all the trials and saw all the gardens. We saw a pileated woodpecker up close and personal! Was surprised by this sighting. You have to experience this small pace of heaven right off the highway. I would go here again. Delightful.

LOVED our visit to these gardens! Beautiful setting and landscaping. Especially loved that it;s being rehabbed from the turn of the century -- you could feel the history and ambiance of days gone by. Can't wait to come back!

A friend (and master gardener) and I visited and we both enjoyed it in our own way. She appreciated it from a master gardener's perspective, and I just enjoyed the peace and beauty. We both look forward to visiting again, AND bringing more friends.
