Great for younger children

Our 3-year-old grandson had fun here. It is inexpensive and plenty big for younger children. Splash times run in 2 hour increments with a 1/2 hr. of closed time so you need to... read more

I took my 2 young grandsons to the Oasis Splash Pad for the 1st time yesterday and what a treat it was for them. There are different prices for admission: $2.00 per child Michigan City Resident, $4.00 per child Indiana Resident and $6.00 per child for Out of State Residents. The Session times are posted and are 2 hour sessions.... More

Went with 4 year old granddaughter on a Tuesday afternoon. Paid the entry fee only to be told that nothing could be taken inside i.e towels, blankets, bags or toys. This was a deal breaker for my granddaughter who loves collecting water into buckets and cups. Added to that there was not a secure location to leave belongings at all.... More

Having grown up in Michigan City I refuse to let my kids near the lake because of the current. The splashpad is the perfect alternative to this problem. The parents can go in and there are tons of different sprayers. They have shaded seating and a snack bar.

We went during the morning session and it was empty. My 1 year old had the place to himself and we had a good hour of fun playing in the sprinklers. While the place was clean and nice, it was a little pricey for those from out of state ($6 per person, even for us two adults who were just... More

Great place for kids 10 & under to play around in the water. It's open in 2 hour increments so you can't spend the whole day there. Lots of water things to play with, giant fish squirt guns, tower that fills with water at the top and then empties. GREAT PLACE FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES. Park closes at 5:00 and private... More
