We rode the greenway up to Gaston and then back done to the river in a Muncie and east and west along the White River then south on the greenway to make a sixty mile ride. The depot and parking were very nice but we were surprised it was closed on a Saturday in Muncie. The portable bathroom could have... More

Our family really enjoys riding our bicycles on this trail. There are a few nice parks to stop off along the trail around Muncie, and there are some nice businesses to pick up refreshments not far off the trail.

While visiting my daughter at Ball State, I needed a place to run. Found the Cardinal Greenway Trail and it was an excellent place to run.

We enjoy riding the Cardinal Greenway on a frequent basis. The only part we do not like is the section through Muncie. There are too many stops and starts and busy roads to cross. The section of the trail from Mansfield park in Muncie to Richmond is our favorite. Much of this section of trail is shaded and sheltered from... More

If you like to bicycle, roller-blade, hike or just take a stroll - the Cardinal Greenway is the place to be. The parts of the trail going through the country side is wonderful and when in the city you are close to some wonderful places to eat or drink. The trail comes within a few miles of Praire Creek Reservoir... More

This is a very well maintained paved bike trail. Distance allows for serious bikers to ride long distances with little car traffic interference.

Always a nice safe ride! Whether you head north to Gaston, or South toward Richmond, the Cardinal Greenway won't disappoint. Excellent pavement, nice scenery, but best of all, no cars beside you.

Rode from Muncie to Richmond and back...great for biking. No hills - just gentle inclines and declines. So little traffic on the trail and few cross streets - except in the cities. Just be careful in the country - sight lines at some crossings are difficult - almost blind. But otherwise it's carefree riding. Plenty of trailhead stops with port-o-lets,... More

The cardinal greenway is an excellent trail for walking, jogging or biking. It is scenic, clean and wide enough for two lanes and passing.
