The show was To Kill a Mockingbird and the talent was really good. However, if you were very far from the stage it would have been difficult to hear. The ease to order the tickets on line was very easy. The staff was very engaging and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

The cast, music and show itself was hugely entertaining! Although this performance has been put to bed, I have found the intimate setting at the Muncie Civic Theater just right to feel involved in the life of the shows.

We've attended plays here before, & on this occasion our granddaughter was in one. The theater, itself, restored & beautiful in its origional architectural grandeur, is enhanced by plays of all types. It's an enjoyable to spend time it this theatrical experience. The local talent, acting, productions & directors, amaze us. The snacks are reasonably priced. We're anxious to return... More

Excellent productions. Use of local University theater majors make all productions spectacular. Love the vintage vibe of the building. Well run by the not-for-profit board.

This little theater has lots of local people you never knew that had talent. Muncie has lots of singers & dancers who can keep you laughing or they can make you cry. You need to give them a try. Inexpancive fun for all

THE TOYMAKER was on stage this past Saturday to Muncie Civic Theater. The format was very unusual and very enjoyable. I always enjoy an evening at Muncie Civic.

Muncie Civic provides a tremendous atmosphere for our local actors/singers/directors as well as pulling some students from Ball State for year round productions. The Historic Building has been restored in many areas, and is beautifully maintained with great oak features. More is needed to be done, like seats need to be replaced (but that takes $$$). We recently saw My... More

We saw the musical Cabaret, and enjoyed the music, the singing, the acting, the sets, costumes very much. The old theater has a great ambience.

Muncie Civic Theatre is a downtown landmark. It isn't a fancy venue. You can expect a small theatre with balcony, showing signs of its age, but with productions of excellent quality. Last night we went to see Cabaret. The cast included experienced Civic performers, as well as young talent from the theater department at Ball State University. This is typical... More
