The story of Santa Claus, Indiana, comes alive at the Santa Claus Museum & Village. Explore the town's famous history in the Santa Claus Museum and pick up the perfect souvenir in the gift shop. Tried visiting this museum but it was closed. Sorry we missed it as we would have enjoyed touring it. The brochure at the rest areas in Indiana never stated the hours of operation, so they may want to fix that for future.More

This was a very nice little tour. Gerri and I like little musems like this. Learned a lot about the town of Santa Claus from this little gem. A nice gift shop is located here too!

All of the history of the area is represented. Many photos and artifacts. The person working was very helpful and informative.

Museum isn't anything spectacular but you can learn a little history of the town. It's free but they do take donations. There is also an original post office on site where kids can write letters to Santa. The 1880 church was something to see. Again...More

I love Santa Claus and Christmas. Seeing the history of old Saint Nick was awesome, Any kid at heart needs to see it.

The huge Santa outside is unique inside the museum is a wonderful well thought out display! Also the old church is on the grounds and was open no admission that I remember
