The Menno-Hof Visitor Center is a superb way to learn about Anabaptist principles, the beginnings (and persecution) of the Amish, Hutterites, and Mennonites nearly 500 years ago, and how they made their way to America. There is a imaginative mix of teaching tools -- videos,...More

My dad found it fascinating and I have to agree with his positive opinion of the guides as well. Inexpensive, well thought out, clever displays, worth the stop of you are not knowledgeable about the Amish, Hutterites, or Mennonites.

We were staying in Shipshewana and I had looked online before going on the trip and so we planned on visiting Menno-Hof. It only cost seven dollars to get in per person, which we thought was a good price. Our tour guide was Mennonite and...More
