The Lilly Nature Center serves as an entryway to the Celery Bog, a bog/wetlands area on the northern edge of Purdue University. There are several well marked and well maintained trails along the western edge of the bog, and around the nature area. There are several types of water fowl that can be viewed year round in and around the... More

I enjoy going to Celery Bog to walk, bird watch and just relax. The trails are well maintained and have benches and boardwalk overrlooking th bog at various places on the trail. There are picnic tables and open areas for kids to play frisbee or other games. In the nature center you can sit inside and watch the birds at... More

We didn't actually go into the nature center but the Celery Bog Nature Area is a great place to hike. If you are into bird watching it's a good place to see all kinds of water fowl. We saw lots of wood ducks and all kinds of warblers.

The Lilly Nature Center is a fun and FREE family activity! We love exploring all the parks in the Lafayette/West Lafayette area. This one is a hidden gem among Purdue's residential living area. The best part is all the animals surrounding the center that live off of the celery bog. The nature center has so many different activities to explore... More

Come, sit and rest in the glass fronted viewing area where small animals and birds come to feast. You will want to build one at your own home. This building on the edge of a noted bog is a first class experience, with or without children. You will learn about the area from the time of the glaciers up to... More

Over the years I have been there on many occasions and for different programs and events. The trails are interesting, and the displays in the building are a tremendous help in understanding the ecology of the "Celery Bog".

Lovely trail through the woods on several intersecting paths. Lots of birds, including blue herons, ducks, geese, and other water fowl. Definitely would recommend for a nice outing with friends or family. It's right in town but has a wild feel to it.
