Amazing museum. They had a lot of amazing pieces. I try to go to the Figge everytime I am in town. They usually get some really cool traveling displays. Definitely worth the trip to downtown Davenport.

We enjoyed the museum. It is rather small and we went through it in about 1 1/2 hours including the special exhibit we especially wanted to see and the gift shop. The gift shop was quite good. There was a lot of modern art.

They had an exhibit of "Where the Wild Things Are" book and author Maurice Sendak. There were some pop culture exhibits and some great historical paintings.

I noticed the Bertoia Diamond chairs in the lobby and found also a Bertoia sculpture. The Grant Wood archives are there. The every changing galleries and classes for all ages.

The traveling exhibit was worth the trip, but the permanent exhibits are always worth another trip. Parking was fine and staff were friendly

Not a bad museum, it is worth a visit, but visit with very moderate expectations. When you consider that the University of Iowa's collection is on long term loan, I was expecting more from this collection. There are some decent works, no stars. They did...More

We went during the first week of July and during that time there was free admission. We got maps when we walked in, but had originally thought we were meeting for a tour. The gentleman at the front desk said there was no tour but...More

Admission for seniors 60 and over is $6.00. Sometimes a local corporation will underwrite free admission for a month or two but I think that's not in effect now. Their website has tons of info if you care to check it out... More

It really depends on what you want to see....I would say it takes at least 2 hours to see it all and enjoy the view of the Mississippi river.....
