This is worth the stop for the educational benefit. It demonstrates how trout are humanely raised to be released into the wild. It gives you a chance to see trout up close if you are not a fisherperson. Parking is close and hatchery easily accessed.

Bring some quarters and watch the kids feed the fish. There were a number of people Eagle watching. Also a good spot to picnic. Overall, a good hours worth of family entertainment.

Visited on a beautiful day and was lucky enough to see the eagles flying about. Wandered through the hatchery and talked to an employee about the hatchery.

In a beautiful setting along a babbling brook, shaded by large trees, lies a fish hatchery complete with fledgling rainbow trout AND nests of the American Bald Eagle.

Nice place to visit and see the trout. The eagles here LOVE them! We've visited the hatchery a few times. A pleasant setting in the country.

I went there to try and see the eagles but the nest tree is on private property. I strolled around and looked at all the trout and envisioned the eagles grabbing a few. I did drive across the road and parked at a place where...More
