The cave is very short. It's more of a crevasse in the side of a bluff. Most people there came out bewildered. "That's all it is," was the common expression. It would be good to visit on a 95 degree day for a quick break....More

Signs to get here are too small or maybe non existent? We had to stop a jogger to get directions: do we go left or right on Ice Cave Road. When we got there, it was one small parking area and maybe our travel trailer...More

We had to ask where the Ice Cave is. We went too far and got to the 'pick up' point for rafters and had to turn around. Very little parking and only a very tiny sign. It's a small area and you need a flashlight...More

This is an unusual spot and a rare geological structure. To see the ice you need to visit in the Nay - July time frame. It is cold and you need a flashlight. Cave entrance is only about 50' off the road. Parking is very...More

We were kind of disappointed with the tiny, ice cave but it was still cool to see. We went this month and the ice was pretty slippery. You can't see anything and it doesn't go far back at all. Still pretty neat.

Very small cave with no lighting. We had a very small flashlight and could not see the ice or the path so we left. We had been interested in seeing a cave that has ice all year.

The waterfall and ice cave are so interesting, we would love visiting the area in the summer. Will study my geology books because this place is outstanding!

Ice is slippery. The ground is ice. It's neat to check out, but difficult to traverse. Would not recommend for over 50's or bad knees, etc. (you could go partway & atop so don't avoid if there are young/old in your party). Very very short...More

Yes. It's just a small cave entry off the side of the road.
