We toured the Salisbury mansion w/ our kids. Beautiful pieces & history to look at, but careful not to touch anything!

I would 100% recommend a tour if you're visiting this spot. The tour guide i had, Lowell was amazing. He knew so much about the history of the place and was very patient with questions.

No, we paid for our tour at the holidays and I believe there is a charge for the tours during the week at regular times, also. You could check their website or call. They give tours a few week day mornings during the week.

We visited on a weekday for 1:30 tour and bought tickets at the door. Total of nine on tour with a very enthusiastic and knowledgable tour guide.
