We enjoyed a lovely fall visit to the campsite but was turned off by the constant overhang of the DNR and Camp Host. The children were directed to not throw a football around unless they were in the playground area where there were three dead...More
Pretty park located off the Loess Hills Scenic Byway. A local had suggested the overlook as particularly scenic. Would be stunning in the fall! No admission fee. Easy hike to overlook with several benches.

I wanted to take the day off and drive over to Iowa. I decided to visit Waubonsie and take a few photographs. This is a great time of year to drive the scenic bluffs. There were only a few folks using the park so one...More
