We took our grandsons there and found the story interesting. The fossils were not as great as I thought they would be however.

Interesting place by the Coralville Lake where we an hour searching for fossils. Found plenty and got a nice pause before going on to the lake MacBride park.

The kiddos will love looking at the fossils that are in the rocks. The area isn’t huge, but it’s a good way to spend 45 minutes or so just walking around. Connected to Coralville Lake, so fishing and trails are also available.

We enjoyed this place for a couple of hours. It definitely wasn’t what we thought it was but the little scavenger hunt kept our attention.
