What I expected

This place has some stuff to look at. It was fun finding an item and remembering what show you seen it from.

If your in town you have to stop and visit the American pickers store, they have a lot of things that you see them pick on the show, and of course a t-shirt shop, it was pretty crowded when I was there, which was around lunch, but it's a have to see thing.

Was very cool seeing the little shop where it all started. We love the show and have met Mike and Danielle in person. They are so sweet and down to earth people. It was fun seeing a lot of the finds from some of the shows We have watched hanging on walls and sitting around inside the place. The knucklehead... More

I had a great time visiting the Picker Store, but i was expecting the store to be a lot bigger...The staff is great each one had great personality. But I didn't get to meet anyone from the tv show...But it's not a wasted trip this town has many hidden treasures to visit and eat.

I am grateful for Mike and keeping this business in Le Claire. He has helped so much the town of Le Claire. Cody Road has improved from bikers lane to a tourist stop. This is all because of the show and Mike keeping the store here. The actual store though is just a t-shirt shop. There isn't much in the... More

The store has very little parking so plan on walking a little bit. I did get to see some cool finds that I saw on the pickers TV show. Mostly selling shirts and stuff at the store. Overall if you a fan of the show it's cool to just be there and see the picks they have on display.

Very disappointing husband wanted to go didn't read the reviews. All there were is T-shirts hats mugs & books with antique archaeology printed on it. They had a few cool items no prices and what did have prices were ridiculous. The two places with the small parking lot were so small they only have one bathroom for both men and... More

I took my 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter to Le Claire for no other reason than to go there as myself and my kids were huge fans of the show. The help in the store yelled at my son because he was touching some of the merchandise looking for a price. Come to find out that... More

Traveling from Northern Indiana to Colorado Springs. Easy to find off the interstate. Quaint little town that was asleep when we got there around 9pm. Located on the Mississippi River in a cute little town. Very surprised to see it's actual location. I love the show and their use of camera angles don't show it's actually right behind a BP... More
