We encountered a birthday party - they created art and learned about the various puppets. Baird puppet collection was fun! Also beautiful views out to the river

We visited the museum, which is free, and came back the next morning for a guided walk of the neighborhood architecture for a small fee. Our docent was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the area is eye candy for those who love prairie style architecture.

Thanks for the wonderful review and for participating in our architectural walking tour! This is something we offer weekly from June-September because we are located in such a special neighborhood full of prairie style architecture.

The most popular collection are the Bill Baird puppets. Also has works from regional artists. You can spend an hour and see most all of the exhibits.
