The campground is immaculate. We were lucky enough to get a campsite next to the creek and 2 campsites away from the waterfall. Listening to the creek was so relaxing. The grass on your campsite is cut and soft not to mention the size of...More

Okay, with a name like this-I would make it more spooktacular. It was interesting taking a boat through a cave and we had done another cave up in Minnesota the day before where we walked through-so it was neat to have a different experience. The...More

We spent an afternoon here with our 2 teenagers and really enjoyed it. There was about an hour wait for the cave tour but it was a really nice Saturday and they were understandably busy. We plan on coming back.

Was a nice boat ride through a cave. Had a few tight spots and water drips on the noggin and a few spooky spots! Tour guide was great The grand kids really enjoyed it. Was dark in some spots and had a wishing well to...More

Well it is a Cave and you do have to take a boat to tour it. It is reasonably priced, the cave is still alive and they seem to be trying to keep it that way. Since it is called Spook Cave, be aware they...More

Four of us were spending the weekend taking the Iowa Waterfall Tour that we had seen on Facebook. One of those was called Beulah Falls and it was located at the Spook Cave Campground. The waterfall is just inside the entrance in the campground and...More

This was a fun little excursion at a sweet little campground. We paid the (somewhat high) price for the boat tour of the cave and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. There were some tight spaces and some drippage on the noggin, but it was...More

We loved doing cave tours when our kids were little, and we are just starting with the next generation. This tour is only 35 minutes long, and it was a good way to judge if our grandkids found it interesting enough to do more. They...More

I had gone as a kid and I don't think it's changed much. The cave doesn't have a lot of formations, so it's more about the experience of visiting a cave in a boat (and all the ducking that was involved). We all had a...More

Very reasonably priced and you get a pretty neat experience. The guides appear to be very personable. Great with kids of all ages. We didn't camp there but the campground looked to be very nice, clean and we'll maintained.

I personally do like to read the bad reviews also as long as they are truthful. I realize working with the public is not always easy and they will always be grumblers. But as a reviewer you can usually see through the petty... More

No reservation needed, just go and get your name on the list. It will be tight quarters and the taller or heavier you are might make it challenging.
