Well known sacred temple of buddhists in Sri Lanka. Near main road. Calm and quiet. Recommended for religious activities. Go with suitable clothing.

The temple is very famous among Buddhists and very crowded during poya days. There is enough parking opposite the temple and road side shops to buy flowers and other things you need to worship. Remember to wear decent clothes. It very surreal during the evenings.

Bellanvilla is one of the most visited Buddhist temples in the country. it has adequate parking facilities with a good road network. could get very crowded during poya days.

people live who live in the busy Colombo make some time to calm their life for a while in this place. but this place is crowded all the time. but faith of lord Buddha make them more religious.
