This museum isn't just about airplanes. They have unique cars, trucks and other vehicles. The display about the crash of flight 232 is well done. This is a nice place to visit, and aalthough there is plenty to see, you can do this one in an afternoon.

We were fortunate to have the director of the museum give us a guided tour. The detailed pictures and exhibits of how Sioux City responded to the airliner crash was impressive.!

We had a sibling reunion this week and decided to visit some attractions. Being a Monday, the Art Center & Lewis & Clark center were closed. This was our second choice but a pleasant surprise. You might need your GPS to find it if you aren't familiar with the city. They have, in addition to the military and air and... More

The photos and history are a real treasure to the Sioux City area. I particularly like the items that helped shape the history of our town and the tri state area.

This museum is hidden in a very industrial area of Sioux City, on an old part of the KSUX airport from the 1930's. It is a quiet museum, with a few passionate staff, and a well maintained collection! There are a 1 or 2 small closed exhibits that they are working on, and probably will be for a while, but... More

Took us about 2 hours to get through the museum, so take your time. A lot of information about the history of Sioux City Airport. Besides the FedEx Exhibit being remolded and another exhibit from Flight 232 aircraft being remolded also. The Flight 232 was emotional. We definitely would go back again in the future.

Although the building itself is not that appealing and there is little to no signage directing you to the museum, the displays and history inside are more than worth your time to explore. There is a very nice WWII display about Operation Tidal Wave, the bombing of Romanian Oil Fields as well as many artifacts from the mission. The Flight... More

This museum is located in an industrial district in a nondescript building....but what a surprise inside! Each display is carefully and prepared with great attention to detail and obvious pride in local history and military service. It is absolutely immaculate. The Flight 232 exhibit is particularly well done. A must see for aviation or transportation buffs.

We were very impressed with this museum. Lots of aircraft and vehicles to see, plus an airplane you board through a jet bridge. Also a very nice exhibit about the United 232 crash. Worth a look.

A lot of history and interesting artifacts in the museum. Our family, ranging in ages from 13-47 all enjoyed the visit. Something of interest for everyone to look at. The only disappointment was that a couple of the exhibits were not open for viewing - I would have given it a 5 if they would've been!
