Wow. What an experience. We did this as part of our hike organised through Marvelous Borneo. My partner is a rock climber so found this to be fine. I was scared at the beginning being completely out of my comfort zone. The guide however was amazing and helped me to trust the equipment. I'd highly recommend this. Great experience!! Fabulous views!!

There is a cut off time for Low Peak Circuits 7.30am and Mount Torq 8.00am. Means you have to be really fit to make it before the time to take the Ferrata activity. After long 6km probably 5-6 hours trek from Timpohon gate to Laban Rata, ordinary people will get exhuasted. Midnight 2-3am on the next day, the hike from Laban Rata to the peak is not easy walk. Very tough especially at the rocky part, it's really long walk with little oxygen up there (I heard many suffer some kind of altitude sickness). I suffer some headache but luckily feel better after some sleep. I trained around 2-3 times per week jungle trekking (around 1.5 hrs), still feel myself not fit enough for this Mt Kinabalu hike & after the Ferrata I was exhausted. Make sure you train your stamina & muscle before this tough hike. Ferrata wasn't for those who are afraid of the height. It's seems scary, but you have to trust the cable, trust the instructor (guide). You will do fine. The view, amazing!!!

Very worthfulful to join after Kinabalu summit. Try another route to go down and you will find a quietly different gorgeous scene. Suit for moderate physical strength. Cuz you need to wake up at 2am, summit before 7am and join via Ferrara at 7:30. We takes 4.5hrs and back to hut at 1pm. After beunch, we arrive entrance over 6pm and pays tour guy fee for 3hrs and very exhausted. Time is regent for us.

By far the very best way to come down from Mt Kinabulu summit. Very professional and well run operation. Very high level of safety with outstanding guides. Our group did the Lowes Peak Circuit and it was possibly even better than the summit sunrise. We had a couple who where very nervous but the high degree of professionalism shown by the guides - Hillary and Ali- soon had them relaxed and feeling safe. Should you do it? easy awnser is yes

Beautiful sight, seen at close distance. A majestic sight to behold. Alhamdulillah we were able to see the mountain without the fog. For those able bodied, you can trek up the trail.
