Small town zoos like this are a nice change of pace. It is free to get in. Pretty small, but laid out well & clean. Have some animals that are not found in bigger zoos. Well worth a stop.

I took my granddaughter to the Brit Spaugh Zoo this summer. We always make it a point to stop there when she comes to visit at grandma's house.

Great zoo for small children. Not so much for older kids. Few interactive displays. Passing thru - visit - but do not go out of your way, unless you have younger children who need to burn off some energy

The best part is that it is free!! They have a good selection of wild animals, like bears, tigers, & lions. The inside building serves as an education center and it is very informative.

I've been going here since I was little, and I always look forward to going! I enjoy the lions and snakes the most! The butterfly tent is my favorite too! It's free, and a really fun place to go on a nice day!
