Island is good to camp and for overnight but the hard part is its water line is quite not friendly. Since it is open, under current can be expected. Have to ride a boat to transfer and will took you aroung 30mins transfer to puting buhangin or kuwebang lampas. Did not go off due to it has entrance fee once... More

Out of the three surrounding islands of Kuwebang Lampas and Dampalitan Beach, Borawan Islands has the most convenient location for camping overnight. Do note that the water here is unlimited, has electricity service from 6pm onwards.Borawan stays true to its name as the limestones rock formation around will make you feel like your in Palawan plus the white sand that... Beautiful beach, great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery! Using the beach is 150 pesos per person. It was a little tricky finding a boat to take us to the island, however after we figured that out it was a great afternoon.

Borawan Island was great. My group of friends had the whole island to ourselves when we got there at about 9.30am (via car from Manila). The friendly island security guard gave us the best spot to pitch our tent, a sheltered little nook between 2 limestone formations. There's a little store when you can buy snacks, coffee and even charge... More

We had a great stay at Borawan months ago and still can't forget those memories, the food served and the personal care of our Tour Guide, Ate Irma Saniel. In fact, because of her, It was my review of Borawan in Tripadvisor that has the most viewed article of mine. However, we lost contact with her until she managed to... More

A huge disappointment. The beach is nice, water is okay but there's a lot of garbage, comfort rooms are messy and the queue is ridiculously long. The campers are awfully terrible and noisy. It would be a great place if the management could be extra strict for maintaining the place and the people especially at night. If you're planning to... More

My second time around here. Entrance fee went up. Now it's Php150/person. Huts for leaving your things or for eating is Php850. They have a security guard there that welcomes you to the island. He will collect your fees before you leave. Public toilet and shower is now free. Toilet is stinky, no flush. Shower is fresh water. It's right... More

As a person who loves beach, it's just an average. The beach is clean, limited electricity and there's no enough fun activities there. The store and restaurant there is quiet pricey so bring your own food, drinks and other necessities.

Yes the sand is white but not that powdery but still you will enjoy it as well with the rock formations. Don't forget your camera when climbing the rocks. Enjoy the water though its not that clear. You need to bring tents if you want to stay overnight and plenty chips / food. Don't forget to visit dampalitan and the... More
