Few of us outside of the military realize how important Ft. Leavenworth has been and still is to the US military and officers from allies around the world. The old mansions and other buildings are beautiful. They have a lot of stories to tell. Much...More

We love history, so we loved visiting this historical post. Do visit the museum and drive by the wonderfully maintained houses dating back to the 19th century, still being used as military housing.

What a beautiful installation, full of history and charm. Stop by the museum, or take a walk along the bluffs of the Missouri River.
