This park is located south of town about 1 1/2 miles off Hwy 77. The gravel road winds around but is well marked and even in winter was no problem. There is a small picnic area but I was amazed at all the history. There is a replica of the rope ferry and a sign explaining how it worked. Kids... More

Suggest looking at a satellite/hybrid view of this location on an online map to see the required turns by the rail yard. If you are interested in pioneer history, this is a worthwhile site.

Shady, and inviting. Great area for children to play. Can tell the city takes great pride in the park.

The park is located in a small tree-covered spot along the Little Blue River. There are informative plaques on the important transportation corridors that ran through the area and a full-size ferry replica (which my kids thought was great). The park is somewhat difficult to get to, as you have to drive south out of Marysville on US77 and then... More

Have a replica of the ferry used to cross the Big Blue-if your into the Oregon Trail and Santa Fe Trail history its very interesting.
