Many people do not know of this wonderful little garden, so close to KC. There are several miles of trails along with the wonderfully maintained gardens. It's a great place to get away from the hustle of the city and enjoy outdoors. Bring the kids or grand kids. Lots to see.

Just a lovely place to bring kids for a long walk, and also to just sit quietly and read a book. The gardens are well maintained and there is no charge which is very nice in this day and age.

We walked the woods and the gardens. Do not miss this one. The entrance fee is cheap. It was well worth the time we spent here.

We have loved our arboretum as it has grown over the years. A dedicated group of professionals are assisted by many volunteers. Great community support to their foundation's annual STEMS event that brings music, beverages, and local restaurant tastings to their patrons. Don't miss their sculpture garden. It is a beautiful tour of contemporary modern sculpture. Small gauged train is... More

Nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Lots of color and serene spaces to soak in the outdoors. Great place to spend the day (this is not your average park so don't come looking for playgrounds! Think trails, benches, open spaces)

I thought this was a lovely place to visit. The gardens were well kept, the walk as long as you want to make it and not rigorous, lots of special touches, some quiet spots and some lively spots. The Indian circle is well worth the trip, and they have a nice gift shop. It's a little different each time you... More

I've been many times over the years and have seen this grow from a dirt pathway into the woods into a beautiful planned garden with sculptures. My favorite is the Monet garden. It's a wonderful place in all seasons to bring a sketch book, camera, book, or just your thoughts.

Enjoyed a pleadsant stroll at the Arboretum on a Tuesday when free of charge. Paved and mulched paths for short stroll or longer walks. New felt sculptures to see. Birds active at feeders and bulbs shooting up.

This is a nice place to walk, stroll or just sit on a bench. Lots of beautiful vegetation. Some fun features and areas to engage children as well. Trails in wooded areas too. Lots to explore.

The Arboretum has several paths through a wooded area and around a lake. It is a fairly easy walk with just a bit of a decline and/or incline. The gardens are meticulously kept. The Luminary Walk in December is a great experience.
