This place is really clean, fun, and amazing! I was super impressed with all the stations and the amount of activities for anyone to do. I loved all the animals!! The enclosures were the cleanest I have ever seen and you can get up close to them. I loved bottle feeding the baby goats. That was definitely a highlight! I went with my son who is 19 and my other son who is 11 and they both enjoyed themselves. What a treat!!

We went here for a Saturday afternoon with our toddler, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and niece. The day we went was a little chilly and windy, but we still had so much fun. There was so much to see and do. The highlight of our visit was seeing all the animals: pigs, turkeys, quail, cows, goats, and so much more.
Definitely worth popping in! There’s ton to do and see you could easily spend a whole day or good part of a morning or afternoon.

Perfect place to take toddlers and extremely affordable. My 4 year old really enjoyed the baby goats and cane pole fishing.

What a great experience for kids to see farm animals up close and personal. Lots of goats to feed and pet. Sheep, horses, cows, bunnies and birds. There is fishing too. Such a neat place.

I was disappointed that many of the exhibits and activities were closed but the admission price was not adjusted. We did enjoy the pumpkin patch.

This place is fantastic for children. We got to bottle feed the goats, stroll through the butterfly garden, and ride the horse-drawn carriage. There are so many animal exhibits and playgrounds that the kids will have fun for hours. We didn’t get a chance to check out the shopping area but it looked so quaint. It was a very affordable day trip.

Great day and place for families with kids. We enjoyed our visit - fishing, feeding baby goats, beautiful flowers, lots of animals, shopping, playgrounds and good food selection. A safe area, lots of parking. Highly recommend.

Last Sunday (October 3), I bought a ticket at the front gate shed to meet some friends inside. I went ahead and bought the Pumpkin Hollow package because I didn't want to miss out on the deal. When I went in, the older male ticket taker marked my receipt with a Sharpie and said, "Show them this receipt. That's your ticket into Pumpkin Hollow." When I got to Pumpkin Hollow, I was "greeted" by Kathy. She asked why I didn't have a blue ticket. I told her I wasn't given one. She said they should have done that when they marked your receipt. As someone who doesn't work there I answered, I understand but the gentlemen did not." She then accused me of losing the ticket and instructed me to check my pockets. I did (again) even though I knew I had never received a blue ticket so I couldn't have lost said ticket. This was frustrating but I get it. It was after when she said, "Okay, yell them Kathy said you're okay and show them the receipt." As I walked away I had to tell three more people this vs. them giving me the ticket I wasn't given before. My fiance who was behind me told me after Kathy said she thought I was perhaps lying and did have a ticket. That's not call. You don't call someone a liar, to others after you when you're in a service and referral heavy industry. I won't ever be back, I'll tell everyone this story and hope that Deanna Rose does a better job of hiring and training in the future.

Is there anywhere on site to eat? Were stopping for vacation, and dont want to pack a lunch.

Yes! I recall kid-friendly lunch foods and treats: turkey cheese sub, PB&J, yogurt, string cheese, chips?, Dippin Dots, soda, and dipped ice cream desserts. There might have been nachos and cheese and pretzels and cheese but I’m not certain. Prices weren’t ridiculous- they offered a specially-priced kid’s meal. The milking shed has a window for food sales but it hasn’t been staffed when we’ve been there. The times we’ve been there the ice cream shop mid-park and the eatery all the way past the wagon rides in the back were open and staffed. Also drinks were available at the fishing pond. On hot days and days with lots of visitors the ice cream shop line is out the door around the lunch hour. Picnic benches can be hard to find around the noon hour. Long story short: dining, no - kid-friendly food service options, yes.
What is the height and weight limit to ride the horses?

Ages 3-10. When we went my grandson was 3 & weighed 35 lbs. The staff walks the horse so it’s pretty low key. It was the older children that, at least on the day we were there were allowed to ride also.

I would love to bring my elderly parents... would there be those electric scooters that we can rent or even a wheel chair for my mom? I know that they would have a fantastic time just bringing all the grandkids here... Thank you :)

I'm not sure. I've never been there yet. The best thing to do is call them for full details. Sorry!
Is it free

Would there be much to do for my 13 month old? He isn't walking yet (just crawling), but I thought he might enjoy seeing the animals and maybe the playgrounds - didn't know if the activities would be more geared towards children a little older?

My children are older now, but when they were that age (even under 12 months) they really enjoyed seeing the animals. My kids always liked feeding the animals through a fence. When they were really young I would hold them while I fed the goats so they could see them up close.
There is also a large playground, sand play area, etc...

Does anyone see this as a good, fun place to visit for a 12 and 14 year old? They're good natured and down to earth but they're also pre/teen kiddos. For example, they won't want to mine for gemstones, I can say that with absolute certainty. Additionally both kids are ineligible for the pony rides due to my cooking. Ha! They do like to fish and pet the animals and such. Any advice would help me make this a wonderful vacation. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Just walking around this beautiful, free(except Friday and Saturday) atmosphere is fun for any age. My 16 year old goes with me whenever she can when I take my granddaughter. It just takes you back in time!
