A great place to check out. It's an excellent place to see the tide go out and come in as you watch the boats sink to the ground and rise again. Also some nice little shops to check out and pick up some cool, unique souvenirs while you wait for the tide to turn.

Hall's Harbour is a beautiful small fishing village located on a small inlet off the Bay of Fundy. This is the prime picturesque location to experience the notorious Bay of Fundy tide swing. The first thing to do when planning your visit is to consult the tide tables. We scheduled our morning visit at low tide. We walked down a... More

We arrived here at low tide, so we were able to see and photograph lobster boats resting on the bottom of the boat basin. I’m glad I was finally able to see this novel phenomenon for myself, and I regret that we weren’t able to wait around to see the tide refill the basin and lift the boats. It was... More

What a perfect find! Enjoyed the drive there. Then to a great surprise Hall's Harbour. View was beautiful, the staff was great. Glad we did the extra!

We chose the 4.65 lb lobster. He was yummy. Staff was attentive and polite. The sides were not super tasty in my opinion, however I was not there for potato salad or garden salad. People say it's pricey, but honestly it was rather inexpensive considering the weight of the mammoth beast. I do understand the costs involved in a fishing... More

Fabulous small roads lead to to the quaint hamlet of Halls Harbour. We were there at low tide, which was drastic and so interesting. The local restaurant is unfriendly, overpriced and very average, do bring a picnic to eat on the beach. Views across the basin are spectacular!

I love bringing out of town guests to Hall's Harbour. It's a nice stop to include when visiting the Annapolis Valley. Enjoy just looking at the scenery, visiting the lobster pound and getting a sense of how low and high the Bay of Fundy tides are. But shhh....don't tell too many people how wonderful it is!! We don't want it... More

Beautiful setting, awesome low tide view of boats sitting on floor of tidal basin! Best to go at low tide and watch the water come in. Simply amazing!

On our last day in Nova Scotia, we drove west and decided to stop in at Hall's Harbor to see some of the highest tides on the Bay of Fundy. The drive there was nice, though we did run into roadwork in Kentville and had to detour. Nova Scotia, in my opinion, has horrible road signage, so even the detour... More
