The Oz Museum was actually more impressive than I thought it would be. It cost $9 to enter and see virtually every Oz related item ever made from lunchboxes to plates to movie posters. It really was quite fun to see all this stuff. The...More

We drove 2 hours to get here. Was a little disappointed. Lots of videos & information about the movie, Braun & the actors. The displays were donated by area business, not to much from the original set. No flying monkeys although the lady that let...More

If you are an Oz fan this is the place to go. Start on Auntie Em's front porch and then open the door to Oz. The museum has lots of memorabilia and a fun little gift shop. Also has great photo ops with the characters.

On the way back from visiting Abilene KS, we decided to take a side trip to the Oz Museum. It is way off the beaten path, but it was worth. Always fun to see the story of how Oz came to be, all the characters...More

Way off the beaten path in Kansas, but probably worth it if you're really into Wizard of Oz for a very modest 9$ admission fee. The museum started as a collection of a private individual and includes hundreds of Oz themed collectibles. The movie runs...More

We enjoyed our visit to the Oz Museum. They had a lot of memorabilia and facts that we found fascinating that were worth the $9 admission. I think older kids who are familiar with the film would enjoy it. It was approximately 10 miles north...More

This is a cute museum about the Wizard of Oz with photo opportunities. The gift shop is great, too. It's about 9 miles from I-75. I'm glad I stopped.

We thought it was a bigger. Over priced admission. My kids wanted to see the museum so bad, we decided to go. Besides this small museum, there's nothing else to do in that town. It's a one time visit.

I was in Manhattan, KS last weekend and took a short drive to Wamego to see the Oz museum. In my opinion it was overpriced. We went through the full museum in about 25 minutes. The museum itself was fine but nothing spectacular.
