Even though it was a bit crowded, this was an amazing place to hike. I would not bring small children as there are many scary drop-offs and some places where we had to do some serious scrambling. The vistas were beautiful and the trails well marked. There was even some geocaching to be done!

The hike can be strenuous so make sure you are in good shape and are wearing good hiking shoes. The views from the top are beautiful and well worth the hike. Coming back down is much easier!

The views are worth the hike. Be cautious in wet weather as the wet trails can be very slippery. Take your time and enjoy the journey. There is a hike, down into Davis Hollow, that is not steep. No matter where you go here, you will be surrounded by the beauty of nature, with occasional fellow hikers.

Stopped in for dinner. We didn't want to do a chain restaurant. Food was basic but good. Service a little slow for the hour (7:00 pm). Staff was friendly. Nice little gift shop to wander around in to stretch cramped up, traveling legs....

Great place to hike. Trails are easily marked, well traveled and it's nearly impossible to get lost. Safe location just out of town. Pets are allowed on leashes, and extra water is recommended. There are outhouses located near the paved parking lot.

We had a couple hours to hike before leaving Berea. We chose to hike to the West Pinnacle. It was an absolute beautiful hike. The view at the top is slightly disappointing as most of the scenery is masked behind trees and rocks. I've been told the East Pinnacle has an amazing, open view. If we go back, that's what... More

This was a nice leisurely hike that we enjoyed very much. The fall colors of leaves seem to be at peak right now. I am not an avid hiker so this was just right for me with distance and not constantly uphill. We hiked to the west pinnacle and look forward to coming back to hike the east pinnacle.

The Pinnacles are owned by the College.....a quick and pretty drive just outside of the campus area. The Kentucky ARtisan Center has trail maps for The Pinnacles. The trails involve a lot of climbing on somewhat calculating paths, rocks, and tree roots. There are benches every now and then to rest. We took the Indian Overlook Trail which went straight...
