The views from both the East and West pinnacles are superb. Check out the East for sunrise and the West for sunset.

Unfortunately, we did not know about Berea Pinnacles. We were there to visit our Berea College freshman. We were not prepared to hike when we stumbled upon the park when on a drive on a pretty Sunday afternoon while our freshman was busy. It was...More

Absolutely stunning views. Thankfully from other reviewers I was able find this with no issues. I’d give it 5 stars but because it’s a bit strenuous hike and easy get twisted around. Thankfully there is good signage. Next tine I will be more prepared and...More

Variety of trails, we chose a easy one to start then switched to a challenging one. Stopped by the Devils kitchen, then over to the East pinnacle. Wow well worth the hike. Side note, trail was muddy in places and had several spots of scrambling...More

My only gripe was the lack of bathrooms. They have this spiffy new facility but everything is locked, double locked, and triple locked! My bladder was not happy. The hike to the East (or west? I can't remember) was tough but the view up there...More

This hiking trip was great. We drove about hour and half to get there. It was a last minute decision but knew we had plenty of time. The trail we took to Indian Fort was challenging just because it was pretty much straight up and...More

The Pinnacles are amazing views and a good workout. Once at the base trail, heading up was nice! It’s a bit of a climb, with a little work involved, but really does have a great ending once it reaches the summit. Beautiful views all around,...More

After reading many reviews about hiking the Pinnacles, we decided to try it. It was only a 1.5 hour drive from Louisville (closer than the Red River Gorge which we have hiked countess times). We went down the night before and stayed at the Red...More

Great area for hiking. Spent 4 1/2 hours hiking several different trails. Some areas are steep, but the climb is rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding area. Very peaceful and scenic area.

I did use the website however, the directions to get there were not specific. We asked local people working at Boones Hotel, but found that they weren't sure of where to park. I think that many people would benefit from more... More

Yes, dogs are welcome on the trails - leashed. There are some really dangerous cliffs and drop-offs, but a leashed, well behaved dog would be fun. My old lab mix could never make the hills. :-(
