What a beautiful place! The drive to Tater Knob was wonderful itself, but once we got there, we were greeted by some happy pups and pleasant potters. This place is a real treasure. We came to Berea on a road trip and made this stop specifically for TK and were not disappointed. We were the only ones in there at... More

It was nice to stop by and see a potter at work but this place needs to be cleaned up and if you are afraid of dogs do not go!

The drive out to Tater Hill Pottery is gorgeous! The hills and "knobs" were in full vibrant fall color. The GPS found it easily, although you feel like you are out in "no mans land." The setting of the pottery barn and farms is fabulous. Sarah, the owner, encourages you to walk around and take in the view. She is... More

While driving down a windy road today in Berea, KY, we came across a sign for Tater Knob Pottery and Farm. It is a beautiful fall day and we have an afternoon to explore, so we followed the signs not knowing what to expect. When walked through the door we were greeted straight away. Sarah, offered to show us how... More

If you enjoy meeting true artists and craftsmen and learning about the process of creating a work of art, then you must visit Sarah and her family of potters. This is a well hidden gem. Our visit to Tater Knob was one of the highlights of our trip to KY!

It is not far from "downtown" Berea, Ky and well worth the drive. They have beautiful pottery with which you can choose plates, bowls, pitchers and one-of-a-kind pieces. I purchased a cool coffee pot. The colors they use are beautiful. I am so glad that I took the time to go. We didn't get to see them in "operation", however... More

Visited Tater Knob Pottery with another couple in spring of 2016. Use you GPS or make sure your driver has a clue....ours didn't. Not the difficult to find if you know where you going; but signage off the connecting road is easy to miss. The owner and family are very warm and friendly even offering a free drink when we...
