First time back on campus in almost 30 years. Still as beautiful as I remember. Sustaining commitment to interracial education in the Appalachian region since 1855. Great place to visit for crafts

This is a lovely campus and one which should be advertised more! The students that attend this college are all going for free. They pay no tuition but are required to work at least 15 hrs. a week. What a wonderful concept! I wish there...More

A walk across the campus enlightened us about the mission of Berea. We spoke to numerous young students who were so excited to be attending this school. Their majors ranged from Chemistry to Accounting to Nursing, etc. They were bright and eager to talk about...More

To understand the history and services this college provides just amazes anyone who takes the time to learn about the college that runs the town. The campus is beautiful and to know all the students attend for free is just beyond belief... The pride they...More

"Since its founding in 1855, Berea College’s scriptural foundation, “God has made of one blood all peoples of the earth” (Acts 17:26), has shaped the institution’s culture and programs. Founder John G. Fee, an ardent abolitionist, asserted that Berea was founded “in the midst of...More

Berea college is a historical institution. First to accept African-Americans, women, and every child goes tuition free. Students are accepted would wide. The shops and town is great

We had wanted to visit Berea KY for some time to see all the art. We stopped by the college to just get an idea about it. My thought was it was another small expensive liberal arts school, but was very pleasantly surprised. I came...More

Berea College is in many ways too good to be true. Slow, Southern pace, top rated educators, gorgeous campus, meticulous groundskeeping, and one of the best engineering and maintenance staff in the business!! Unlike the larger University to the north, where winning basketball games is...More

This university has a rich history. With a $1.2 billion endowment, students attend free. They are required to do community projects and many of them are studying to be artisans. The campus is beautiful, nestled in a small town with many shops and artist studios....More

Our daughter graduated from Berea with an excellent education. But we benefited by learning so much about the history of the school. Berea is located in a small college town that is safe, has tons of opportunities, to see and purchase crafts both by students...More

Pamela. Sorry, I don't know that chapel, so I have to refer you to the person above and their answer to contact the college. I personally used Chapel in the Woods in TN, and could not recommend it higher. It was perfect.
