A great place to stop & stretch your legs. If you don't have time to visit the town of Brea you get the best of what the school/town makes. Jewelry, glass, metal, food, basket weaving, the list goes on. There is also a sit down...More

We started at the Visitor’s center before our hike. To call it a “gift shop” is an understatement… The main entry has the front desk for info, but also houses a GREAT collection of geological pieces of crystal, stone, and gemstone items. This large foyer...More

This center is full of local and area artists' crafts. There is also a restaurant but we didn't come to eat. We stopped by here on way to Berea and ended up returning to purchase a couple items before we returned home. Also, there were...More

I was not as impressed as I thought I'd be with the Center. I was expecting a lot of hands on crafts being shown, but on the other hand it was simply a gift shop with restaurant.

You can get info about the area here, look at or buy any of the many crafts or food products here, eat at the cafe, or just rest awhile. The restroom was one of the cleanest that I've been in. There were tables with umbrellas...More

Great choice of crafts to choose from, with knowledgeable people on duty to help explain and demonstrate. The Sand Sculpture outside was magnificent and very impressive work! Leave at least a couple of hours to visit

Really interesting and clean place for travelers to catch a break. Clean bathrooms. Lovely, but expensive gifts available by extremely talented crafters. Exquisite gifts. Large shopping area. Restaurant. Very comforting place. We took a nap in truck in parking lot and felt extremely safe. Many...More

Minutes off the interstate, this extensive craft shop offers a broad variety of Kentucky-sourced gifts, both fine crafts and foods. The cafe was closed when we arrived but I suspect would be a great alternative to the usual interchange chains.

This place is excellent. The artisans once a month do demonstrations of how their particular craft is done. The best time is at Christmas when it's all so festive. There is something for everyone but not really recommended for small children. It really is a...More

There are no outside exhibits. It's all indoors. Only service animals allowed. We left our dog in the car listening to his favorite music with the a/c on so he would comfortable. Best to leave a note inside the window too.

It's a trap. Admission is free but the temptation to buy the art is hard to resist. The art is unique and fairly priced. Food and drink also fairly priced. Great place to stretch your legs.
