The marker is not anything to go out of you way to see and the information it contains about Daniel Boone can easily be found on the web. However if you happen to be walking at the college square it is worth a read.

You can cross the street and view this marker when at the Boone Tavern square. Walking around the square is a nice little trip into the past.
