We have come here off and on for 50 years. This park has the most trash in the water, on the trails and in the park than any state or county park that I have ever visited. The trash takes away from any view there...More

I visited here after a very heavy rain pattern had come through, being a first time visitor, I did not know what to expect. The falls are about 20 miles from Corbin on twisting , turning, mountain roads. Once I got to the falls, parking...More

Was very much looking forward to bringing my kids here, I had fond memories of visiting--and wading into the river above the falls--when I was a child. Alas, signs posted everywhere--no wading or swimming! So that has changed. Of course the falls are incredibly beautiful,...More

Check the calendar to make sure you will be able to see the Moonbow. Bring a flashlight and patience. There are so many people. Parking is terrible. There is a small lot, and it fills up quickly. So, go early or late. The Moonbow is...More

The park and pool were great! Fun activities for our family, games in the lodge, clean, large pool with friendly employees. Beautiful scenery and lodge staff couldn't have been much better. Our food in the restaurant was tasty and view was beautiful although they were...More

It was a dank and rainy day but well worth a visit down to the Cumberland Falls. Not a crowded area today due to the rain but well worth the visit.

We parked at the gift shop and took trails down to the falls area. It was a very nice walk. However I wouldn't call it the "Niagara Falls of the South". One of the viewing areas was getting worked on.

The Falls and stream are beautiful and offer low-activity walking but offer harder unpaved trails as well. The Park offers a good gift store and decent bathrooms. However, the area had a construction site and trash everywhere. In the water and around the area the...More

OK, I can see the trash being brought down stream and on the banks of the river because it was washed downstream. But.... the park itself? com'on... there is no reason the trails, viewing areas, parking lots, main park by the falls had to have...More

The cabins are stand alone housing in a cluster. The cottage rooms are smaller with a locked door between them for guests or can be opened for access to both sides. The lodge rooms are clean but dated and worn. If with a... More

It is not far from the interstate all. Just a note, last month they were working on upper and lower overlook deck, so you can see the falls, but just not that close. Not sure of mobility, but be aware there are some stairs... More

I'd say you can see the top of the falls in less than a quarter mile hike. The bottom of the falls is down a number of flights of stairs, so the distance is probably less daunting than the climb back up after viewing....
