First place we visited was a circular roofed area. I would consider it a picnic shelter. It had a nice overlook. Next, we went to the gift shop. The attendant was very informative about the park and the wildlife. We drove the park road that...More

What a lovely, cute, quaint park! We knew nothing about it, as we were coming to the area to do the high point and staying at Benham Schoolhouse Inn. We headed here just before dusk, so had too little time to visit this tiny park...More

We rode our bikes up here. Its a beautiful drive up to park, and a beautiful, well kept park. There are hiking trails, but beware there are bears in area. There is a pond for fishing, putt-putt golf, lots of places to picnic and playgrounds....More

They have put a new road up to the park. The other road was very scary, straight up. Great view. Have been here a couple of times. The office was not open and the restrooms were closed for a leak.

Myself and a friend have utilized the campground at Kingdom Come State Park twice now as a base to explore the great motorcycle roads in that area of both Kentucky and Virginia. When we weren't riding, the park has several hiking trails that are short...More

As is all of extreme Southeastern Kentucky, this mountain range is beyond beautiful. Well maintained roads throughout the park allow for driving tours. Do not miss any of the overlooks! Any season is well-taken. If you chose to drive along the Little Shepherd Trail, understand...More

Stopped in this park on a lark just to see what it had. Very glad we did, the park is not one of Kentucky's better state parks but what it lacks in amenities it makes up for in views, trails, picnic areas and solitude. Very...More

There is a primitive campground. The park also has a couple shelters and restrooms. There are also multiple picnic areas with fireplaces and grills.
