The food was delicious. I had the catfish and vegetables. They bring out these little cornbread muffins and coleslaw that are to die for.

I love history, and for history lovers this is a well worth four hours of your time. The Shakers came to Kentucky in the early 1800's, and while their religious views are a stretch for me, the history they lived is an insight into early...More

Shaker Village is one of those places we just keep returning to. We love it so much we became members. Very beautiful grounds and restored buildings in addition to miles of hiking. Come for a visit and stay the day.

This is a great place to walk and view this unique property. Everything is well maintained. This would be a great place to eat lunch or take a picnic lunch.

My family and I go here a lot. There's numerous trails to hike. There's a tour of the village, a boat ride, dining, lots of things to learn and they offer various camping and activities.

We stayed at the Beaumont Inn in Harrodsburg. There are stairs but also an elevator. About 10/15 minutes away.
