Four Roses is a beautiful and historic distillery and the insight and guidance provided by our OUTSTANDING guide, Heather made the tour so much better. She even provided us with advice on many ways Four Roses bourbon can be used to spice up various recipes. If you're traveling down the Bourbon Trail be sure to visit Four Roses and ask... More

This is the 3rd place we stopped while in The Kentucky Bourbon Trail. As you see from the pic, they had a prop for a photo op while you wait. We really enjoyed this tour. We all had headsets so we could hear the tour guide the whole time, and this allowed us to walk around while she talked. You... More

This distillery tour and tasting was very informative. The cost for the tour was only $5 per person. The tour guide was very well informed and had a great personality. The tour started with a short film. We then went into the area where the bourbon is made. The tour included head phones which helped with a large group, great... More

I sampled this distillery's wares and was pleased with the Single Barrel. The buildings are slightly Spanish is their flare, the host shared stories of Four Roses. I recommend this as a must see when you go to Kentucky.

This was our last bourbon trail tour of the day, sixth one in two days, so we were delighted to learn they offered a tasting instead of a full tour. Due to construction, they said we might not get to visit some buildings, so it worked out great. Frankly, we could recite the rules and requirements for bourbon by now.... More

We did the tasting, not the tour. For the time being, as they are expanding this 100 year old distillery, only the fermenting room is viewable for the tour. Our hostess, Kim, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and enjoyable. Four Roses is well known for superior bourbon, so none of that was a surprise (I've been drinking bourbon since the early 70s).... Did the bourbon trail thing with a group of friends. Four Roses was our last stop and one of the favorites. Our tour guide Elijah was great. Very informative, was able to answer questions and was very entertaining. For $5, worth the tour as you get to keep the glass and try all 3 labels.

Distillery tour wasn't available the day of our visit because of restoration so we only had the bourbon tasting. We've paid 5$ each and we've tasted 4 different Bourbons. They give you 2 glasses each as a gift. With no tour I can't rate more that 3/5 but it's definitely worth the visit.

This would be our second trip to "Four Roses". The distillery is/was under construction remodeling. So we were not able to tour the distillery. If you want to tour this distillery, make sure you call ahead of time to make sure they are done with construction. We did partake in the Bourbon whiskey tastings. The tastings were fairly good sized... More

We went on the distillery tour while under construction... so the tour was abbreviated.....but still very interesting and informative. Page was our guide and was very friendly and quite knowledgeable. The grounds and building are beautiful. It's a very classy place. Four Roses is my favorite bourbon and the gift shop included special selections single barrel. The gift shop is... More
