Tour started with a somewhat dated video overview of the distillery history which was ok buy not very personal. Afterwards we were led through the facilities by a knowledgeable guide. During our visit there was an expansion project underway so we had to work around a bit of construction, but no big deal. Tastings at the end of the tour... More

Heather was very good. She was very passionate about the distillery. Although she promised extra bourbon but didn't get it. Very informative. A lot of history. And like most of the tours you get a glass at the end to take home.

The tour was limited due to construction on the property. It was interesting however - as the tour guide was informative on both the history of their products and processes. I'd recommend a Four Roses tour as part of a multiple tour day (or weekend) at the other area distilleries.

We only did the tasting and not the distillery tour so hard to gauge against the others on the Trail but, while it was pleasant, it was nothing special. There was one guy with a reasonable group size, some of whom were not particularly engaged and so there was a lot of side chat during his conversation about the bourbons,... More

While on the Bourbon Trail, one should definitely stop at the Four Roses Distillery. A little out of the way, but again, worth it. The tour is great, the bourbon wonderful and the tour guide (Elijah) passionate about his work.

The grounds a nice and the people are very friendly. They are upgrading and their tours are very limited. The guide did his best and was very informative. I would like to go back and see the actually distillery next time.

The distillery is undergoing some renovation, so they only offer a modified tour. You can only see the distillery from the visitor center where you will see a short movie and talk. They still do the tasting. Suggest you visit nearby Wild Turkey for a better tour until 4 Roses finishes their renovation.

We passed through Four Roses while they were still under construction, but you barely noticed! We just missed the tour, but they were offering a tasting only option which was just fine for us. After visiting a few distilleries and taking the full tour the day before, we felt ok that we weren't missing much on a tour regarding the... More

The distillery is going through a lot of construction now so there isn't a lot you can actually see. We had to settle for a tasting in their shop. Our host was James and he was knowledgeable and courteous. There were only 2 others tasting besides my husband and myself, but they can accommodate a larger group. One day we'll... More

We only had time for a tasting at Four Roses. Our host told us about the history of Four Roses and their place in the current bourbon market. We had a nice selection of their domestic bourbons. Much to my surprise, my wife found a bourbon that she enjoyed.
