Wild Turkey was a good view of a corporate type major distiller. Grupo something or other bought and put $100MM in upgrades. A taste of all of their products was interesting along with a free glass. I thought the distinction between the Wild Turkey and Buffalo Trace (a competing brand nearby) tours gave an interesting view of the Bourbon business.... More

I guess I'm a little bit bias to Wild Turkey because it's one of my favorite bourbon's so naturally I liked the tour and I liked the visitor center, but the thing that I was most impressed with is the cleanliness of the plant and Jimmy Russell's commitment to make a quality bourbon. Got to meet Jimmy Russell's granddaughter Joanna... More

Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take the full tour of the distillery having arrived just after one tour had departed, but we did visit the gift shop and walked around the surrounding. The gift shop was fairly small and had a limited supply of items, but, nevertheless was attractively decorated. We did buy a bottle of bourbon, since we... More

One of the must stops if you are interested in doing the Bourbon trail. One of the most historic distilleries on the trail Even able to meet one of the iconic owners who have been there for over 60 years. Definitely worth doing the tour. Book in advance if you can.

After so many distillery tours, it becomes difficult to recall what makes a tour one that you'll repeat or not. In comparison to other tours, I'd return to Wild Turkey for the tour, tasting, and gift shop. Here's why: 1-Setting of Wild Turkey=NIce! Overlooking a river, its valley, old bridge that's used for bungee jumps 2-Facilities=A behind the scenes look... More

An informative tour with Vitoria, and fun tasting. This was one of our 16 distillery visits and each one is a little different. Very modern gift shop and tasting area. Distillery also is more modern than most. Beautiful view of an old train bridge from the Rick houses. Worth a visit..

Pass the time while waiting in the gift shop by reading the timeline of Wild Turkey history. We enjoyed the tour. My husband enjoyed the honey whiskey and honey sting whiskey. We have never tried any honey whiskey before. Tour price includes tour, tasting (4) and free Wild Turkey glass.

This was my second time to visit this distillery. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. You could tell she really enjoyed her work. This distillery is a working factory making mass quantities of bourbon and whiskey. A lot of stainless steel and concrete but not a lot of character compared to the smaller craft distilleries. However their product... More

We went to 7 breweries in 2 days. Wild Turkey was not our favorite bourbon but they had the greatest tour. Our tour guide, Bubba, is an ex marine and he is wonderful. We learned a lot and laughed our way through what could be repetitive information (after several other distillery tours). The glasses we used at the tasting were... More
