Part thoroughbred race course, part sales company and considered one of America's most beautiful tracks, Keeneland is known for its well-designed and meticulous landscaping. The grounds consist of the paddock, a prep area where visitors can view horses up-close just before the race and a combination of dirt and turf race tracks.

You can read about this wonderful racing venue in many places. But the best experience is the Track Kitchen (not to be confused with the more "upscale" breakfast under the grandstands on Saturdays) for breakfast during the racing meet or the sales, followed by walk through the barn area from kitchen to the grandstand. The trip never gets old!

Wow, my fiance' and I loved Keenland raceway, the workers, the parking and the food as well!! We want to let everyone to know there is no comparison of this track to Churchill Downs in Louisville. Keenland has got it all over Churchill in every aspect you could think of! Cannot wait to go back to Lexington, KY soon and... More

Nice fun opportunity to see the thoroughbreds race. Find a try your skill at picking the winners. Very pleasant atmosphere with good food good company and nice hats for the ladies. It's kind of like being at the Kentucky Derby without going to Louisville. And plus it runs every day during the month of April

Its just beautiful. The most peaceful setting, awesome beauty, and your very close to the horses and everyone else in the sport. Not stuffy like Churchill or Belmont. You have to see this beautiful place, then you will know what i'm really trying to say.

Keeneland is THE most beautiful race track!! Louisville may get to host the Derby at Churchill, but Lexington has Keeneland! It's a true treasure! Even off season, come early for a morning workout and make sure to stop at the track kitchen for a good old home cooked breakfast! Beautiful!!!

A very interesting place to visit even if you are not into horses and even if they are not racing. We have been there with a tour and learned lots of interesting information. We also have been there during racing and it is a wonderful place to enjoy that sport.

You don't have to go the races to enjoy Keeneland. A visit early morning will let you watch the horses exercise. You can even talk to the riders and exercisers as they walk by. Be sure to stop at the cafeteria and eat a great breakfast with many of the people of the track. Finish by enjoying a scenic drive... More

This is a fabulous piece of preserved history for horse lovers and regular visitors alike. Stunning manicured grounds with shady trees and grassy parking, we visited when there was no racing. It is a great place to just come and walk the grounds, see the grandstand, visit the gift store. Quiet and genteel, lovingly kept by the staff. The racing... More

It's hard to beat a day watching horse races at the track, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better track to experience than Keeneland. Only $5 to get in, and another $5 to reserve a seat in the grandstand. A ridiculous bargain. You can visit the paddock, watch a race or two by the rail, wander throughout much... More

The parking facilities, stalls, paddock and footing, along with the stands, turf and dirt tracks in mint condition--Damon Runyon never had it so good.
