Came in on a Sunday afternoon before our flight home, and we are all glad we did. There was an outstanding cross section of planes and history here in both military, private and experimental planes. It was well worth the admission, and our guide Jim was great. He explained everything in detail and answered all our questions as well. This... More

Had a group of middle school kids here for a tour. Everyone enjoyed the presentations and checking out all of the exhibits. The staff was super knowledgeable and seemed excited to share. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

This is a wonderful museum of aviation. They even let you sit in a military helicopter and in a private prop plane. There is an extensive amount of information and a lot to learn. This museum has two large rooms with aircraft and some outdoors. It is just outside the Bluegrass airport. Parking is right at the museum and is... More

I have been to many an aviation museum...this is a smaller one with interesting aircraft but is big on a knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff. Be sure to come when the weather is nice so you can enjoy the additional outside displays.

If you get to the airport early this is wonderful little aviation Museum to see. More than you might expect in a location tucked back in the airport property. Very nice guides, and some interesting displays and nice assortment of different planes.

it's a small museum - no Smithsonian here - but very interesting, and was given atour by one of the docents there. You will be pleasantly surprised.

We went as a group from the Army the 589th Engineers. It was amazing to see so many different planes, starting with the first that the Wright brothers invented. And the guide we had knew absolutely everything about every plane there. Quite fascinating!

I really enjoyed visiting this place. You get to meet with the curators and discuss Kentucky Aviation history, they will point out interesting items that are very unique to the area. I would highly recommend a visit

There is a interesting attraction out by the Lexington airport - the Aviation museum of Kentucky. If you need a place to get in out of the heat as we did or just something else to do this is your place. And if airplanes and aviation interest you then this is a must see. Obviously not up to Wright Patterson... More
