Makers Mark is a distillery that is worth a visit!
Makers Mark Distillery is the best! They make you feel like family every time! Definitely worth taking the tour!! The tour guides are the best in the business and they could all probably be stand up comedians if they wanted to be! And the can answer any question you might have about the operation! I highly recommend a stop at this great, historic distillery!

    MM ambassador tour
So many great traditions and the art was spectacular. the 46 room was our fav. Sign up to be an ambassador, it is free but takes 5-7 years for your barrel to be ready. #worththewait. Laura was out guide and she was spectacular.

Best stop on the Bourbon Trail
My first visit to MM was in 2012 and my how things have grown!! I was delighted to see the expansion during my 2023 visit while still maintaining its history, charm, and friendliness. I am a MM Ambassador and my trip was to pick up some bottles of MM from my Ambassador barrel. This is a must see and you won’t be disappointed.

    A must visit distillery
This is by far the most picturesque distillery I have had the pleasure to visit. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as well. A pleasant surprise is that you can wax dip a bottle you purchase in the gift shop even if you're not an ambassador. If there is any one distillery you visit in Kentucky I would recommend Makers above the rest.

    Ambassador Tour
Returning to Maker's Mark 7 years after my first Bourbon Trail experience was amazing! The grounds are beautiful to wander. Their story just keeps getting better with time- think Maker's 46 French Oak.

    Beautiful distillery
This was our favorite distillery tour. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The tour was very informative and showed a lot of the history of Makers Mark. Wife was able to dip her own bottle. Would like to visit again in the fall.

    Not just for bourbon fans
The grounds of the distillery are quite beautiful. The tours are informative in regards to the history of Maker's Mark. Portions of the tour will require you to walk outside so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather during your visit. The gift shop has some fun unique items only available at the distillery and the waiting area, where we waited for our tour to start, has a small bar where you can order a cocktail or beveridge while you wait. One thing of note, portions of the tour may be difficult for someone with mobility issues to navigate. If you go, don't forget to say "Hi!" to Whiskey Jean! In general, anyone would enjoy a visit to Marker's Mark Distillery.

    Best Bourbon distillery tour
I took the "Behind the Bourbon" tour and my guide was Chet. This was the best distillery tour I took while in Kentucky. If you take a tour, ask for Chet. This guy loves his job and keeps everyone involved ensuring you have a great time. Chris over in the barrel side was very knowledgeable about what he does. He has been there since 1997 which tells you the place is awesome! I also recommend purchasing an un-dipped bottle (or 2) and dip your own bottle in the red wax.

    Loved the tour
We got there about 45 minutes before our tour and they asked if we wanted to go on the next tour in 15 minutes, so we did. The tour guide was very professional, friendly and nice. Enjoyed the tour a lot! Also enjoyed being able to dip our own bottles! Would definitely recommend it! Would definitely do it again!

Wonderful trip! Enjoyed the whole experience! First enjoyed the art and decor. Then the tour. They were extremely knowledgeable and shared the full 6 decades of history. The taste testing was enjoyable and fun. Finally we had the opportunity to purchase souvenirs. What a hoot! Great experience!

A beautiful place to walk and discover the history of this company and its bourbon. We loved all the preserved older building, the scenic landscape and artwork.

Such an informative and beautiful experience learning the environmentally friendly company how they do their craft and protect the earth and all the fabulous craftsmen they hire. Masonry, iron forging, Chihuly glass installations (2) the only ones in Kentucky besides the fabulous information on bourbon 🥃 making
