Impressive and romantic walk around St. James Court and Belgravia Court. These are majestic homes of yesteryear's era. Architectural details, scale and landscape all make this 1 hour walk worth the free parking (if available). We were fortunate to see High Tea with women in...More

The walking tour of Old Louisville is a great mix of today and yesterday. Aptly described as the largest concentration of Victorian homes in the country, the tour showed us so much more than we imagined. The houses are lovely, of course, but the neighborhoods...More

Did a walking tour of this neighborhood. Well preserved houses and some fascinating stories. Learned what made Louisville such an interesting place and made my put it on my list o places I might like to live.

It's not Savannah or Charleston but there are a lot of huge, old homes. Avoid walking past the frat houses on the weekend.

Around Central park there are many Victorian homes, some of which are bed and breakfasts. They are well maintained and a pleasure to see. We also walked through the area with gal lights.

We drove around quite a bit. Visited Muhammad Ali,s grave where we walked around and felt safe. The hotel we stayed in was a short walk to a restaurant where we didn,t feel threatened in any way. I would imagine as long as... More

As someone who lives in Old Louisville and owns a 30 foot travel trailer let me make a few suggestions. Depending on the day of the week you are trying to park, you may be able to park in one of the church lots in the area... More
